Volunteer

We couldn't have this race without our volunteers. Assistance is needed in the following areas. 

Register as a volunteer and our Volunteer Coordinator will be in touch 2 weeks before the event with details and instructions.  A Volunteer Orientation meetings will be available the week before the event.

Aid Station Hosts Earn Money for Manpower

That's right! Sports team, community service groups, or company groups can support the Tobacco Road Marathon by working an aid station.
Aid Station Hosts commit to provide at least 15 volunteers for a single aid station led by a team captain. We encourage you to bring music, make signs and banners, dress in costume... anything to inspire our runners to keep moving forward!
The race will donate $200 per aid station and additional award of $500 will be given for the best aid station! All supplies (cups, tables, gatorade, trashbags, gloves, etc.) will be provided along with instructions. You provide the people and the fun, we'll do the rest!
We can provide a letter of involvement in order for your volunteers to use towards Service Learning/Community Service credit needed.
